Project “Environmental Strategies for Sustainable Tourism – STRATUS” 2° Innovation Fair – in the framework of the 6° edition of SEAFUTURE

Executive summary:

STRATUS project actions (2/2017-2/2019) include the organization of an Innovation and Sustainability Fair, which aims to highlight SMEs good practices for the environmental sustainability (e.g. waste, energy, water, transport, natural resources). In addition, a business to business session (B2B) will facilitate meetings and exchange between SMEs working in innovation and touristic sectors.

For the STRATUS project event, a workshop will be organized, with a morning session dedicated to the presentation of STRATUS project and examples of good innovative practices and technologies – related to sustainability with impact on tourism activities – Organized by invited speakers from the territories (Sardinia, PACA, Liguria) involved in project. A buffet lunch will be offered to participants. The afternoon session will be dedicated to B2B events, bridging ’ecoenterprises’ – that provide technical/technological innovative services to improve sustainability in the tourism sector – with companies from Sardinia, PACA, Liguria, needing to improve sustainability of their services. About 20 enterprises representing the Ligurian (10), Sardinian (5) and PACA (5) territory will be invited. Working languages will be Italian and French; a simultaneous translation system (Italian-French) will be available.
